Von 21. bis 23. August 2026 findet das 1. Wiener Honig- und Bienenfest statt – veranstaltet vom Landesverband für Bienenzucht in Wien. Drei Tage lang dreht sich alles um Honig, Bienen, regionale Produkte und die faszinierende Welt der Imkerei mitten in der Stadt.
Der Maria-Theresien-Platz, zwischen dem Kunsthistorischen Museum und dem Naturhistorischen Museum, bildet dafür den besonderen Rahmen. Ob Familien, Stadtkinder, Bienenfans oder einfach Neugierige: Beim Wiener Honig- und Bienenfest kannst du kosten, staunen, ausprobieren und dabei mehr über die Bedeutung der Bienen für Natur und Umwelt erfahren.

From 21 to 23 August 2026, the 1st Vienna Honey and Bee Festival will take place in Vienna’s 1st district, organized by the Vienna Regional Association for Beekeeping. The festival celebrates honey, bees, and local beekeeping in the heart of the city.‘
The event will be held at Maria-Theresien-Platz, located between the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Naturhistorisches Museum — a beautiful and iconic setting in Vienna’s city center. You can taste different types of honey, discover bee-related products, learn more about urban beekeeping in Vienna, and experience how important bees are for nature and city life.
All producers and beekeepers at the festival are based in Vienna, so you’ll be enjoying authentic local flavors and meeting the people behind them. It’s a perfect stop during your city trip – sweet, local, and very Viennese.
